Edition 2025 — Nagler See Triathlon
The first Nagler See Jedermann Triathlon took place in 2025 as a premiere. With the sprint distance of 500 m swimming, 20 km cycling, and 5 km running, runningConcepts (Sissy Baumann) established a new triathlon format in the Fichtelgebirge. The participant feedback was positive enough to schedule the second edition in 2026 with the same format.
The 2025 premiere was an important step for the triathlon scene in the Fichtelgebirge. Sissy Baumann and the runningConcepts team established the route, logistics, and competition rules for the first time — with the DTU license from the start.
Participants came mainly from Bavaria and the surrounding regions. The familiar competition atmosphere and the scenic routes through the Fichtelgebirge received good reviews — leading to the continuation in 2026.
