Edition 2025 — Night of the Bakehouses
The 4th Night of the Bakehouses Rudersberg took place in July 2025 in the six districts of the municipality. The historic bakehouses opened their doors, and local associations baked bread, onion cake, and salt cake in the stone ovens. A free shuttle bus connected the locations — a proven format for the Swabian bakehouse tradition.

The Night of the Bakehouses 2025 continued the tradition of revived baking culture in the Swabian Forest. Six historic bakehouses in the six districts of Rudersberg opened their doors simultaneously — and the stone ovens, some over 400 years old, experienced one of their few annual activations.
Local associations — music clubs, sports clubs, heritage societies, countrywomen's groups — took over the bakehouses and provided refreshments. The free shuttle bus connected the six locations, enabling a culinary bakehouse tour through the Wieslauftal valley. An event that combines historical heritage with contemporary club culture and makes the Swabian Forest accessible to a broad audience.
