Overview

The 2025 edition of the NaJe Festival took place from June 20 to 22 in Elbpark Entenwerder. For three days, the park in Hamburg-Rothenburgsort transformed into an open stage for African diaspora culture, with concerts, DJ sets, workshops, a design market, and a political discussion round on Sunday. Admission was free.

The NaJe Festival 2025 once again confirmed its role as an important meeting point for Hamburg's African diaspora and as an open space for encounters for the entire city. In Elbpark Entenwerder, directly on the Norderelbe, the festival combined live music from Africa and the international scene with workshops, a children's program, a design market, and culinary stalls in 2025.

Sunday traditionally focused on political discussion: representatives of democratic parties from the Hamburg Parliament exchanged views with the audience. Sustainability remained an organizational guideline – from material procurement to waste prevention.
