Overview

The Musikfest Landow 2025 took place, as in previous years, in the Church of Landow on Rügen. Chamber concert with students and teachers from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock — free of charge and as part of the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

In 2025, the Musikfest Landow once again drew music lovers from Rügen, the Vorpommern-Rügen district, and the island's summer guests to the historic wooden church. The concept of chamber music, university partnership, and free admission has been successful for years — a reliable early summer date in the festival calendar.

The close connection to the hmt Rostock and its special status as the oldest annually used venue of the Festspiele make the Musikfest a focal point of the festival in the rural landscape of Mecklenburg performance venues.
