Munich Sports Festival

The 2025 edition followed the established concept of previous years: a Sunday in high summer, Königsplatz as the central stage, 50+ sports stations, all free of charge. The festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors annually from the entire Munich region — families with children, young people and adults looking for a new sport, as well as members of the Munich sports scene looking to network.

In 2025, the focus was again on inclusive offerings (wheelchair sports, goalball) and trend sports (padel, pickleball, ninja). The festival has now become an important introductory event for Munich clubs, which experience a measurable increase in trial training participants after the festival.
