Overview
The Munich Outdoor Sports Festival 2025 attracted around 40,000 visitors to the Olympic Park. Over 50 sports could be tried for free throughout the day — Mayor Verena Dietl praised the festival as a successful example of urban sports culture.
The 2025 edition marked the ninth iteration of the Outdoor Sports Festival and brought around 40,000 sports enthusiasts to the Olympic Park. As in previous years, the festival offered an extremely broad program of classic, modern, and inclusive sports — all stations were freely accessible and supervised by experienced trainers.
Mayor Verena Dietl emphasized the social value: Sport brings joy, is healthy, and creates community. The festival has carried this message since its inception in 2017.
