In 2025, the Müritzfest was celebrated for the 70th time. The anniversary festival brought the old town of Waren to life again on the second weekend in July with a parade, fireworks, market activities, and stage music.

With its 70th edition, the Müritzfest celebrated a milestone anniversary in 2025. Since 1954, the folk festival has been closely associated with Waren (Müritz), and for its anniversary, it once again animated the entire old town between the Müritzeum and the festival grounds.

As in previous years, the fireworks on Friday evening and the grand parade on Saturday afternoon were the highlights. Market activities, stage music, and amusement rides rounded off the three-day festival, which was celebrated equally by Waren residents and guests.
