Overview
The 2025 Müggelheim Village Green Festival utilized the weekend around Ascension Day for an exceptional four-day edition from May 29th to June 1st, 2025. On the historic village green in the Müggelheim district of Berlin, the Müggelheim Local History Association and Hauptstadtkultur Berlin set up three stages with live music, complemented by street food and craft stalls, and children's carousels and game stations. The highlight, as always, was the traditional parade with costume groups, pipe bands, and clubs from the district and surrounding areas.
Admission was free; the festival benefited from the long weekend and brought several thousand visitors from Berlin and the surrounding area to the otherwise rather remote Müggelheim. With the 2025 edition, the Müggelheim Village Green Festival confirmed its reputation as the annual highlight of the district and set the framework for the next edition from June 5th to 7th, 2026.
