Mountain Services Ramsau — Edition 2025

In 2025, mountain services were also regularly celebrated outdoors in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden from May to October. The traditional mountain service on the Bindalm was organized by the Kolping family of Berchtesgaden and musically accompanied by an alphorn ensemble and accordion – the deep tones of the alphorns echoed through the mountain landscape.

Mountain services were also held at the Hirschkaser, accessible on foot or by chairlift. The services each lasted about 30 minutes and were cancelled in case of rain. They were embedded in the rich customs of Ramsau, which keeps the alpine culture of the Berchtesgaden region alive.
