13th International Motorcycle Symposium Neuerburg

The International Motorcycle Symposium Neuerburg is a cross-border event to promote motorcycle traffic safety. The 13th edition will take place on May 2nd and 3rd, 2026, at Hotel Euvea (Bitburger Straße 21, 54673 Neuerburg). The organizer is the Trier Police Headquarters in cooperation with numerous partners from the security sector and neighboring countries.

Concept: Enhancing Safety

The aim of the symposium is to increase the traffic safety of motorcyclists. Starting with the motorcycle season in spring, the event is aimed at experienced riders who want to refresh their riding skills, learn about new safety aspects, and exchange experiences with like-minded individuals from several countries.

Partners from DE, BE, LU, and NL

The symposium is explicitly designed to be cross-border. Partners include:

• Trier Police Headquarters: Lead German organizer.
• Police Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands: International police partners.
• DEKRA: Vehicle inspection and technical safety.
• ADAC: Automobile club and driving safety training.
• DRK: Rescue and first aid aspects.

Program

The program combines theoretical and practical modules: lectures on traffic safety, technical input on vehicle equipment and protective clothing, guided practical exercises with one's own motorcycle, emergency and first aid scenarios, peer exchange among participants from several countries.

Hotel Euvea as the Venue

Hotel Euvea in Neuerburg offers the necessary infrastructure for a two-day conference event with accommodation options: conference rooms, catering, accommodation. Its location in the Südeifel region also allows for arrival by motorcycle as part of the weekend experience.

Participation Fee and Requirements

The participation fee is €23.50 and includes catering. The requirement for participation is to have your own motorcycle and complete protective gear (helmet, protective clothing, gloves, boots). This is an event for experienced riders, not an introductory format.
