Overview

The Mooswiesenmarkt 2025 took place the week after Pentecost 2025 — from Wednesday, June 11 to Friday, June 13 — in Crailsheim's Lange Straße. The 248th edition of the market brought traders from all over Southern Germany with textiles, garden supplies, and tools back to Crailsheim. The children's carousel in front of the Liebfrauenkapelle and the Mooswiesen-Wurstkessel were once again the iconic components.

The previous edition followed the centuries-old Pentecost market date rule. In 2025 too, visitors from Crailsheim and the surrounding Hohenlohe, Württemberg Franconia, and West Middle Franconia regions came to Lange Straße. The city of Crailsheim organized the setup; the 25 licensed traders returned or were supplemented by new successors.

The unbroken continuity of this tradition — almost 250 years without significant interruption — makes the Mooswiesenmarkt a special showcase of Hohenlohe's market culture.
