MMC Berlin – Mega Manga Convention — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition once again confirmed MMC Berlin's status as a central meeting point for the East German manga and anime community. Panel rooms, Artist Alley, Merchant Area, gaming area, and family zone were spread across two floors of the Fontane-Haus. The afternoon cosplay competition drew the largest audience as always; the pre-qualification and final format has been established for years and influences the convention's external advertising.

The non-profit MMC-Berlin e.V. organized the weekend again with predominantly volunteer helpers. The unusual location in Märkisches Viertel – not in the city center, but on the northern outskirts – had proven to be a logistical advantage over the years: plenty of space, parking, good accessibility via subway and bus, without the typical rental costs of inner-city Berlin event venues.
