Overview
The 3rd edition of Mittsommernächte Bärenstein took place from June 20th to 22nd, 2025, at the Bärenstein sports field. Pagan folk and pagan metal concerts, medieval market with historical traders, camp life with camping, and ritual elements for the summer solstice.
In 2025, the festival definitively established itself as a fixture in the East German pagan scene. Three days of programming with bands from Germany, Finland, and other countries, a well-attended medieval market with authentic crafts, and dedicatedly organized camp life – all supported by AGM e.V. with numerous volunteers. The location directly on the southern Erzgebirge slope and on the Czech border gives the festival its special atmosphere.
