Overview

The Easter 2025 edition of the Kranichfeld Knights and Dragons Spectacle once again featured three days of medieval life at the Niederburg: sword fights, falconry flight shows, the spectacular dragon 'Fangdorn', and the fire riding show on Saturday evening. The medieval market with stonemasons, blacksmiths, and medieval music groups provided the backdrop.

From Holy Saturday to Easter Monday 2025, the Niederburg Kranichfeld transformed, as every year, into a late medieval venue. More than a hundred performers, craftsmen, and musicians brought sword fights, falconry, archery, blacksmithing, and stonemasonry to the castle grounds. The sword fights around 1 PM and 4:30 PM and the falconry flight show at 3 PM formed the daily program structure.

The now-famous dragon 'Fangdorn', almost four meters high and twelve meters long, was once again the photo magnet. On Saturday evening, the fire riding show marked the highlight of the festival weekend.
