Medieval Market Burg Rabenstein (Summer) — Edition 2025

In 2025, Burg Rabenstein Event GmbH once again invited visitors to the grand summer medieval market on the grounds of the 800-year-old Rabenstein Castle in Ahorntal. Historical groups from all over Germany camped in front of the castle, craftspeople demonstrated old professions, and traders offered historical goods. Field battles and staged combats, performance artists, archery, medieval music, puppet theater for children, and evening fire shows provided a packed program over three days. With its impressive setting in Franconian Switzerland, the market confirmed its status as a highlight of the Upper Franconian medieval scene in the district of Bayreuth.
