Edition 2025 — Medieval Market Harburg
In 2025, the castle festival once again transformed Harburg Castle into an expansive medieval market with encampments, combat demonstrations, crafts, and music. Thousands of visitors came over the Pentecost weekends to experience the atmosphere of a Staufen castle under the direction of Vehi Mercatus.
The 2025 edition followed the long-standing tradition of the medieval market at Harburg Castle. Blacksmiths, glassblowers, and leatherworkers demonstrated their crafts on the castle grounds, the encampments were populated by historically costumed groups, and the sword fight theater delighted a multi-generational audience.
The musical accompaniment by medieval bands and the nocturnal camp life were also part of the 2025 program. The organizers were Vehi Mercatus / Turba Events.
