The MIT DIR Festival 2025 took place in the summer at Klingemühle in Friedland, gathering around 2,500 people for five days of electronic music, workshops, and awareness work in the Schlaubetal Nature Park. A consistently curated festival with a consistent value system.

MIT DIR Festival 2025 — Review

The 2025 edition confirmed the uniqueness of the MIT DIR Festival in the East German festival landscape. With consistently vegan catering, an active awareness team, a sustainable waste and energy concept, and a musically deep program, the festival clearly differentiates itself from larger commercial events.

The atmosphere at Klingemühle—forest, water, mill complex—remains the defining element. The experience of the 2025 edition was incorporated into the 2026 program planning, which further sharpens and expands the concept.
