Overview

The Mindelheimer Altstadtnacht 2025 took place on Friday, September 19, in the old town — free admission. Throughout the evening, music groups, theater ensembles, dance formations, and cabaret artists performed at numerous venues between Marienplatz and Maximilianstraße. Retailers and restaurateurs supported the event with extended opening hours and Swabian specialties.

The 2025 edition continued the rhythm of the Mindelheimer Altstadtnacht: a single Friday evening in September when the entire old town of the district capital transformed into an open cultural space. Local artists from Unterallgäu, as well as guests from the wider region, performed in restaurants, courtyards, shops, and public squares.

The concept has proven successful for years: the city of Mindelheim coordinates, the stakeholders — associations, retailers, artists, restaurateurs — actively participate, and admission remains free. This distinguishes the Altstadtnacht from commercial city festivals and preserves its cultural character.
