Traditional Miesbach Volksfest

In 2025, the festival grounds on Schlierseer Straße were once again transformed into the traditional Miesbach Volksfest for ten days. The event kicked off with a parade of clubs, traditional costume groups, and music bands marching from Brauwirt Miesbach to the festival grounds, where the beer keg was ceremoniously tapped in the Kurz family's tent.

In the festival tent, changing Bavarian bands provided the atmosphere, while on the festival grounds, dodgems, Break Dance, and a Ferris wheel spun. Stalls selling sweets, roasted almonds, and "Steckerlfisch" completed the picture of a classic Upper Bavarian Volksfest in the southern Munich area.
