Schwabmünchner Michaelimarkt with Volksfest — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition marked an innovation: for the first time, a parade of local clubs marched from the city center to the fairgrounds — about 500 members in traditional costumes and uniforms, accompanied by three bands. The format was inspired by the Munich Oktoberfest costume and riflemen's parade, but remained on a Swabian scale.

The market with over 120 stalls stretching for over a kilometer and the Volksfest with Binswanger festival hosts were, as always, crowd-pullers. Puppet theater by TSV Schwabmünchen, Market Sunday with a festive church service and the classic car exhibition, as well as the beer tent concerts, rounded off the program.
