55 Years of KLJB Mettenheim
The Catholic Rural Youth Movement (KLJB) has been an important pillar of club life in many Rhenish-Hesse villages for decades. In Mettenheim, the local group celebrates its 55th anniversary in 2026 – a remarkable milestone for a youth organization that has been committed to young people in rural areas since the early 1970s. The KLJB Mettenheim has shaped generations of young Mettenheim residents during this time, organized countless activities, outings, and festivals, and is now part of the village's cultural memory.
A Festival on the Kulturhof Festival Grounds
The festival grounds at Mettenheim Kulturhof provide the ideal setting for a summer open-air festival.
