Overview

The thirteenth edition of the Merchweiler Oktoberfest took place from late September to early October 2025 at the festival grounds. Here too, organizer Alm Event Gastro and its proven concept of Wiesn stars, party bands, and Bavarian cuisine attracted thousands of visitors from Saarland and the greater region.

The 2025 season confirmed the Merchweiler Oktoberfest's reputation as the most attended folk festival in the Neunkirchen district. The festival tent was completely sold out on several evenings, and the VIP lounge was booked weeks in advance. Bavarian specialties, Maßkrüge, and the now-familiar interplay between Schlager stars and party bands set the tone.

Programme

The 2025 program followed the established dramaturgy: opening with keg tapping on the first Friday, one headliner per evening, Family Day on Sunday with free admission, and a grand finale on the second October weekend. Specific artists included Mickie Krause again, who is part of the festival's regular cast.
