Overview

The 26th edition of the Memmingen Old Town Run took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025. As in previous years, the main race started at the market square and led through the historic Old Town. A fun run, children's and youth races, as well as walking routes completed the program. Hundreds of runners from the Allgäu and the wider region participated. The SV Steinheim e.V. remained the organizer with main partner LEW.

Old Town Run 2025

In 2025, the Memmingen Old Town Run continued its tradition as one of the largest running events in the Allgäu. The program followed the proven format with several competition classes, from children's races to company relays. Memmingen's Old Town was closed to traffic for several hours for the run, once again offering its special blend of sport and historic city flair.

In the Allgäu Running Calendar

The Old Town Run remains a fixed date in the Allgäu running calendar and, alongside the Wertach Half Marathon, the Allgäu Panorama Marathon, and the Memminger Allgäu-Airport-Lauf, is one of the most important running events in southern Bavaria.
