Overview

The Memmelsdorf Main Kirchweih 2025 took place from August 15 to 18 at the Memmelsdorf festival grounds. Four days of festivities with a festival service for Assumption of Mary, live music from the Music Association, DJ nights, sports performances by SV Memmelsdorf, the traditional Schlachtschüssel, and a white sausage breakfast — the largest Kirchweih festival of the municipality of Memmelsdorf in the Bamberg district.

The Memmelsdorf Main Kirchweih 2025 was celebrated from August 15 to 18, 2025, at the Memmelsdorf festival grounds. As August 15 is a public holiday in Bavaria (Assumption of Mary), the festival opening fell on a particularly favorable date.

The program followed the proven four-day structure: festival opening on Friday, live music and DJ night on Saturday (with DJ Fusion Bros and DJ Hammer), festival service, sports performances by SV Memmelsdorf, and a parade on Sunday, followed by a white sausage breakfast and Schlachtschüssel to conclude on festival Monday.

Thousands of visitors from the municipality of Memmelsdorf, the Bamberg district, and the greater Bamberg/Forchheim area attended over the four-day festival weekend — perfect Franconian summer Kirchweih weather with warm temperatures.
