Overview

The 2025 season of Meisterkonzerte Kloster Fürstenzell continued the tradition of international classical concerts in the baroque Cistercian monastery. Several concerts were spread throughout the year in the parish church, the Arkadenhof, the Portenkirche, and the Festsaal of the monastery, attracting classical music lovers from the Passau district and all of Lower Bavaria.

The 2025 season reaffirmed the successful concept of Meisterkonzerte Kloster Fürstenzell: internationally renowned classical artists in an extraordinary architectural setting — the baroque Cistercian monastery.

Forum Cella Principum e.V. once again demonstrated that even a monastery in the Lower Bavarian Rottal region can captivate a discerning classical audience when artists and venues are carefully curated. The unique acoustics of the different spaces — the parish church, Arkadenhof, Portenkirche, and Festsaal — lend each concert its own distinct sonic character.

Ticket prices within the usual range of EUR 25-65 depending on the concert.
