Overview

The fourth edition of Mega 90er Beach celebrated the great Eurodance revival in 2025 at Strandbad Grünau. Eight hours of programming, two stages, sold-out box office, and stable Berlin summer weather. After three smaller editions from 2022–2024, the format had become a fixture of the Berlin open-air season and laid the foundation for the 2026 edition with the same stage structure.

The 2025 edition marked a turning point: for the first time, the event sold out completely in advance. The summer evening at the end of June, with water temperatures around 22 degrees Celsius, attracted the well-known Berlin nineties crowd, supplemented by day-trippers from Brandenburg.

The musical program combined DJ sets with short live performances. The organizers reported that around 30 percent of the guests were in costume – Buffalos, bomber jackets, and neon yellow Hawaiian shirts dominated the scene.

The experiences from 2025 were incorporated into the logistics for 2026, particularly the expansion of catering areas and the setup of the Waldarena.
