Edition 2025 — Medieval Festival Lauchhammer
The 10th Medieval Festival in Lauchhammer Castle Park in 2025 celebrated a round anniversary: ten years of medieval market, knights' tournament, and camp life in Lauchhammer-West castle park. Like every year, the spring festival attracted thousands of visitors to the Lusatian city. The organizer was the agency Heiterhaufen.
The 10th Medieval Festival Lauchhammer 2025 was the anniversary edition after a decade of medieval spectacle in the castle park. For two days, the park experienced a lively medieval market with a stage program, a knights' tournament on horseback, and a fire show.
The mix of historically dressed traders and craftspeople, minstrels, and acrobats made the festival one of the most well-known medieval events in the southern Brandenburg region. Families found a children's carousel, a hand-cranked Ferris wheel, and donkey rides — adults enjoyed camp life with mead, cheese, and clay oven bread.
