In 2025, Falkenstein Castle was once again transformed into a medieval festival setting for a long weekend. Market stalls, camp life, combat demonstrations by reenactment groups, evening fire shows, and archery for children attracted visitors from the Upper Palatinate and beyond to a free medieval festival in the Upper Palatinate Forest.

The Medieval Days at Falkenstein Castle 2025 took place at the end of May / beginning of June, once again confirming the popularity of this medieval festival in the Cham district. Actors in historical costumes created the camp life, blacksmiths, felt makers, and leatherworkers showcased their crafts, reenactment groups performed combat demonstrations, and fire shows captivated the audience in the evening. The free admission made the festival a family-friendly excursion destination on a early summer weekend.
