Edition 2025 — Medieval Christmas Market Fünfknopfturm
The 16th edition of the Medieval Christmas Market at the Fünfknopfturm took place from December 5th to 7th, 2025 (Friday 5 PM–10 PM, Saturday 3 PM–10 PM, Sunday 12 PM–6 PM). High above the old town, the market offered medieval music, theatre, acrobatics, alphorn players, and fairy tales by torch and candlelight, plus handicrafts and regional specialities – with a magnificent view of Kaufbeuren's illuminated silhouette.
The 16th Medieval Christmas Market at the Fünfknopfturm ran from December 5th to 7th, 2025: Friday 5 PM–10 PM, Saturday 3 PM–10 PM, Sunday 12 PM–6 PM.
At the historic tower and city wall, there was medieval entertainment with music, theatre, and acrobatics, alphorn players, and fairy tales. The stalls offered metalwork, textiles, pottery, jewellery, and sweets, along with Reiberdatschi, sausages, schnitzel, as well as mulled wine, punch, mead, and herbal liqueurs. The proceeds once again benefited a social institution.
