Overview

The Meckser Rieweseckel-Kerwe 2025, despite changeable weather, once again attracted numerous visitors from Kraichgau and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region to the center of Meckesheim. Four days of festival with ceremonial keg tapping, festival evenings, a market, and the traditional parade on Sunday afternoon formed the backbone of the program.

Review of the 2025 Kerwe

The Rieweseckel-Kerwe 2025 took place from September 26 to 29. The mayor and the Kerwe association opened the festival days with the traditional keg tapping at the town hall. Despite 'miserable weather'—as the local press described the changeable September weather—visitors flocked to the festival grounds in large numbers.

The parade on Sunday afternoon was once again the highlight: floats from the Meckesheim clubs, music bands from the region, and costumed walking groups marched through the main street, creating a jubilant atmosphere along the roads.
