The Masserberg Tower Festival 2025 took place on August 17 at the Rennsteigwarte on the Eselsberg. A family-friendly mountain festival with regional catering, music, and hikers who made the festival at 843 meters altitude in the Thuringian Forest a meeting point.
Tower Festival 2025 – Review
As every year in August, hikers, families, and club members gathered at the Rennsteigwarte on the Eselsberg. Three clubs (Thüringer Wald Verein, Bergwacht-Förderverein, SG «Rennsteig» Masserberg) organized the festival together. Regional catering, music, and the view from the tower made the day a typical Rennsteig experience.
