The Markttag zu Maximilian 2025 took place on Sunday, October 12, on the Johannisplatz in Waldsassen — the traditional autumn market to conclude the market year, accompanied by Sunday shopping.

In 2025, the Markttag zu Maximilian was held on Sunday, October 12. From 8:00 AM, Johannisplatz presented the usual scene of an Upper Palatinate annual market with sweets, flowers, fish specialties, basketry, and other market goods. As in previous years, Sunday shopping from 1:00 PM complemented the market activities in the town center. The market day once again confirmed its role as the last and most autumnal of Waldsassen's four annual markets and as a popular meeting place for the Tirschenreuth region.
