Overview

The Marktredwitzer Schützenfest 2025 continued the established tradition: five days of Volksfest on Angerplatz with a festival tent, amusement rides, and a parade of the Schützenvereine. Regional bands played in the beer tent, and on Sunday, the traditional festival parade marched through the city center.

As every year at the end of June, the festival tent, carousels, and traditional attire were part of the Marktredwitz summer scene. Angerplatz, in the middle of the city, was filled for five days with voices, music, and the aroma of bratwurst, beer, and chicken. The Schützenvereine celebrated their King proclamation, and the amusement operators were present with all major rides.

Marktredwitz and the surrounding towns of the Fichtelgebirge had their fixed date, where generations meet. With the festival parade on Sunday and the Family Day on Monday, the festival once again marked the traditional conclusion in 2025.
