Edition 2025 — Marktfest Elfershausen
The 2025 edition of the Marktfest Elfershausen took place on August 16 and 17 in the castle courtyard. The local clubs provided a varied program for two days with a beer tapping ceremony, vintage tractor rides, market activities, a flea market, and children's events. Admission was free.
The Marktfest 2025 continued the tradition of the summer festival in the Elfershausen castle courtyard. In summer weather, the mayor opened the festival on Saturday evening with the classic beer tapping ceremony, followed by catering by the clubs and musical accompaniment. On Sunday, market stalls, a well-attended flea market, and a children's program with hands-on activities enlivened the castle courtyard.
The vintage tractor rides, which led through the Saale valley, attracted particular attention. As usual, the proceeds from catering and market stalls benefited the club activities in the market town of Elfershausen.
