Marktfeierei 2025 once again turned Jena's Market Square into a free summer stage. Three days of open-air concerts, children's activities, and participatory formats on the 360° stage confirmed the special character of this civil society-supported festival.

Marktfeierei 2025 – Review

The fifth edition in 2025 once again utilized the proven format: a 360° stage in the middle of the historic Market Square, continuous interaction between artists and the audience, a wide variety of musical styles, and a dedicated children's and participatory program. The Initiative Innenstadt Jena supported the festival in cooperation with the City of Jena, sponsors, and the civic crowdfunding community.
