Edition 2025 — Fishermen's Festival Marklkofen
In 2025, the Marklkofen Fishermen's Festival once again invited visitors for four days of festivities on the community's festival grounds. With an opening parade, fishing competitions, a festival tent with brass music, an afternoon for seniors, and a free children's program, the festival followed its proven format.
The 2025 edition of the Marklkofen Fishermen's Festival continued the long-standing tradition of the folk festival jointly supported by the Dingolfing District Angling Association, the municipality of Marklkofen, and the Kerscher family. The opening procession from the town hall, the youth and conservation fishing competitions, and the festival tent with brass and dance music once again formed the framework of the event.
As every year, the fishing competitions with a festive award ceremony were the centerpiece, complemented by the seniors' afternoon and the family-friendly program to conclude the festival.
