Overview

The Marienplatzfest 2025 took place in late July/early August 2025 in the Stuttgart-Süd district. As every year, Marienplatz transformed into a block party with live bands, silent disco, urban art, and street food. Thousands of young Stuttgart residents and visitors from the region attended the free open-air event.

The 2025 edition of the Marienplatzfest once again offered four days of live music, silent disco, and art at Marienplatz in Stuttgart-Süd. The festival initiative, composed of restaurateurs, artists, and cultural creators from the district, organized the block party without state funding and without admission fees.

The mix of folk singer-songwriters, electro-pop bands, and indie acts from Stuttgart and regional guest performances once again characterized the musical program. During the day, the children's program dominated, and at night, the silent disco. The Marienplatzfest once again confirmed its status as the state capital's most important urban summer festival for the younger generation.
