In 2025, Marienkino also ran as a monthly film series in the tower of Wismar's St. Mary's Church. Film classics and productions with regional relevance were shown, on the last Wednesday of each month in the impressive brick interior of the church tower.
The Marienkino 2025 continued the monthly film series in the tower of St. Mary's Church. As usual, screenings took place on the last Wednesday of each month.
The program included film classics as well as productions related to the city and region. The historic brick interior of the church tower made each screening a special cinematic experience within the Hanseatic city's UNESCO World Heritage site.
