The Malchin City Festival 2025 took place from Friday, June 27, to Sunday, June 29, in the town center. Saturday was dedicated to the parade of associations at 2:00 PM, followed by a stage show with the rock band »Emergency Exit«, the party band »Foolproof«, pipe music, and show dancing. Sunday concluded with a concert by the city choir »Viva la musica« in St. John's Church.

The Malchin City Festival 2025 ran for three days, shaping the town's image from June 27 to 29. The organizers were restaurateur Daniel Witt and Andrea Schmidt – they booked the live acts and curated the program together with the Malchin am Kummerower See office.

The parade on Saturday at 2:00 PM brought together associations, schools, and businesses with decorated floats, the most beautiful entries being awarded at 3:30 PM. On Friday, the Malchin Pipe Band played from 5 PM, and on Saturday at 4 PM, the Fire Brigade Pipe Band performed. In the evening, the rock band »Emergency Exit« and the party band »Foolproof« took over the stage. Sunday was dedicated to a children's program, the music school, a coffee reception, and ended with a concert by the city choir »Viva la musica« in St. John's Church – one of the few cities in MV that maintains a classic annual parade.
