Edition 2025 — Makrelenfest Veitshöchheim
The 61st Makrelenfest of the Veitshöchheim Anglers' Association took place from June 21 to 23, 2025, on the festival grounds by the Main river, next to the Mainfrankensäle. Steckerlfisch, fish rolls, a Weißwurst breakfast on Sunday, live music on Saturday and Monday evenings, and a bouncy castle for the children characterized this traditional club festival.
The 61st edition of the Makrelenfest was hosted from June 21 to 23, 2025, by the Veitshöchheim Anglers' Association and the Carnevals Club 1966. On Saturday, the festival grounds opened at 12 PM, with live music starting in the festival tent at 6 PM.
On Sunday, the day began at 10 AM with a Weißwurst breakfast. Throughout the day, grilled Steckerlfisch, fried fish, and fish rolls were served. On Monday, the festival opened from 4 PM, with a live band performing in the tent from 6 PM.
