makers united 2025 took place in the year of Chemnitz–Nova Gorica European Capital of Culture. Three days of Maker Festival at Chemnitz Stadthalle and Stadthallenpark — with Young Makers Day for school classes, hands-on stations for everyone, and a particularly rich accompanying program due to the Capital of Culture status.

makers united 2025 — During the Capital of Culture Year

In the summer of 2025, the makers united festival took place amidst the European Capital of Culture year Chemnitz–Nova Gorica. The organizers used the special visibility to bring innovation, maker culture, and technology closer to an international audience.

As every year, the festival began on Friday with the Young Makers Day for school classes, then opened its doors to everyone on Saturday and Sunday. Robot demonstrations, 3D printing stations, programming workshops, and creative crafts characterized the program.
