The Mainau Open Airs are a new concert series. No edition took place in 2025 yet — the premiere season is announced for September 2026. Organizer AC Live / Allgäu Concerts curated the lineup throughout 2025 and announced the program in Autumn 2025 / Winter 2025/26.

Mainau Open Airs — The 2025 Prelude

In 2025, the new concert series was prepared, the lineup for the 2026 premiere season was assembled and communicated to the public. The palace garden stage of Mainau Island will thus be used for the first time in 2026 as an independent open-air venue under the label "Mainau Open Airs".

Concerts by individual artists had already taken place on Mainau Island in previous years (e.g., the long-established Gräfliche Mainau Schlossfeste). However, the curated concert series by AC Live is a new format with its own programming.
