The 2025 Maikirmes Schwerte offered four days of fairground fun on Rathausstraße. With opening fireworks, top rides, Sunday opening hours, and Family Day, the proven concept of Schwerte's city marketing continued.

In 2025, the Maikirmes followed its classic pattern: opening fireworks on Friday, full fair operation throughout the extended weekend, Sunday opening hours in Schwerte's shops, and Family Day on Monday with walking acts. Thousands of visitors from the southern Ruhr area celebrated the spring opening in Schwerte's city center.
