Overview

The Maikäferfest Oberkassel 2025 once again transformed Königswinterer Straße into a colourful festival mile. The Werbegemeinschaft Oberkassel, together with local clubs and initiatives, brought thousands of visitors to the Bonn district. Live music on the market square, stalls along Königswinterer Straße, children's activities, and culinary diversity characterised the one-day family festival.

In 2025, the Maikäferfest continued its tradition: one day in May when Königswinterer Straße transforms into a festival mile. The WOK coordinated the festival with numerous clubs and initiatives, the market square served as the main stage for live music, and families found activities and food stalls. Oberkassel once again demonstrated that neighbourhood culture is alive and well in Bonn-Beuel — driven by volunteer engagement and the WOK membership from retail and services.
