Overview

In 2025, the Pottenstein Volunteer Fire Department again invited to the traditional Maifest at the Bürgerhaus on May 1st. Live music, barbecue specialties, a bouncy castle, and a coffee and cake stand ensured a good atmosphere with free admission in Franconian Switzerland.

The May 1st celebration in Pottenstein followed the proven pattern in 2025: Just in time for May 1st, the Volunteer Fire Department opened its festival at the Bürgerhaus. Families from Pottenstein and the surrounding communities of the Bayreuth district came together to celebrate spring.

The bouncy castle was occupied all day, the face painting stand had a queue, and old acquaintances were greeted at the beer benches. Live music and the Franconian buffet from the club's kitchen rounded off the day. As always, the proceeds went to the fire department's work.
