Overview
The Maifest Birgel 2025 took place from April 25 to 27, 2025, in the Birgel district of Düren. The Maypole erection, parade, and King's proclamation by the Maigesellschaft Birgel once again upheld the Rhineland's tradition of customs. Hundreds of Birgel residents and guests from the Düren district celebrated together.
The 2025 edition proceeded as usual. The Maigesellschaft presented a new May King, and the parade marched through the decorated streets of Birgel. The district community drew a positive conclusion and immediately confirmed the continuation in 2026.
