Review 2025

The 2025 edition once again confirmed the importance of the Maypole raising for Huchenfeld's district identity. Practically all clubs, groups, and institutions participated in the procession — Sports club SV Huchenfeld, Harmonika Spielring, music clubs, fire department, church communities, schools, traditional costume groups, and local history society. The Maypole with the emblems of all clubs was traditionally raised in front of the Hochfeldhalle, and the subsequent festival with catering by SV Huchenfeld lasted until late evening. A vibrant form of Southern German folk culture that successfully asserts itself against the general trend of declining village festival culture in a Pforzheim district.
