On April 30, 2025, the Weststadt-Bürgerverein 1906 e.V., as every year, erected the maypole on the church forecourt in Brötzingen. From 1 p.m., it was decorated together, and at 2 p.m., the Technical Services of the City of Pforzheim raised the trunk. Afterwards, drinks and a cozy get-together at "Zum Faulenzer". As every year, a well-attended event in western Pforzheim.

In 2025, the maypole raising on the Brötzingen church forecourt was again a well-attended spring event in western Pforzheim. The Weststadt-Bürgerverein 1906 e.V. traditionally prepared and decorated the tree, and with the help of the Technical Services of the City of Pforzheim, erected it on April 30th. In mild weather, numerous residents and families gathered on the square to witness the decorating and raising.
After the raising, a joint drink was shared on the square with wine and May punch, after which the festive group moved on to the pub "Zum Faulenzer". The custom — firmly anchored in the local club structure — is maintained year after year in its unchanged form.
