The Maibaumfest Rügge in 2025, like every year, took place on May 1st at the Bondeflöh village pond. The Maypole raising, the fire brigade's barbecue buffet, and communal gathering formed the classic setting for a North German May Day in Angeln.

In 2025, the Rügge Volunteer Fire Brigade, together with the village community, once again raised the Maypole at the Bondeflöh village pond. Afterwards, villagers and guests gathered around the decorated tree, and the fire brigade's barbecue buffet provided refreshments.
