Overview

The 29th edition of the Magdeburg City Festival took place over the Pentecost weekend 2025 — four days of programming on the three classic city center stages Alter Markt, Ratsgarten, and Martin-Luther-Platz with cover and tribute bands, family program, and open-air church service. Free admission.

The 2025 City Festival again ran over the extended Pentecost weekend and confirmed itself as the most important early summer festival in the state capital. Main stage on the Alter Markt in front of the town hall, plus Ratsgarten and Martin-Luther-Platz as secondary stages. The organizer was, as usual, MMKT GmbH.
